Developed in collaboration with a local temple, this Zen Wear (SAMUE) reflects feedback from those who wear it daily as work attire. It combines the comfort, functionality, and ease of movement expected from traditional Zen Wear (SAMUE) with Kamakura Shirts' dresswear tailoring techniques, resulting in a sleek silhouette.

The adjustable cuffs allow the sleeves to be quickly rolled up, making it practical for household tasks like cooking, cleaning, laundry, or gardening. Zipper pockets and hip pockets offer convenient storage for essentials such as a wallet or smartphone, perfect for quick errands.

The pants can also be worn separately as casual wear, offering versatility.

[About the Fabric]
This Zen Wear (SAMUE) is made from selvage Oxford fabric, woven using an old-style loom rarely used today. It takes about five times longer to weave than modern looms, producing a fabric that is soft, breathable, and beautifully rustic.

Crafted with this carefully woven, vintage-inspired fabric, the Zen Wear (SAMUE) becomes more comfortable and familiar with each wear and wash, making it a timeless piece for long-term use.
